JONATHAN PECK is inhis second year as Scenic Artist with The Paper Bag Players. Jonathan expressed great excitement to be a member of the creative team, “It’s wonderful to have an opportunity to earn a livable income doing what you love. Paper is my passion--working for the Bags has been an incredible experience. I’m thrilled about the new work for this season and I’m already looking forward to thinking about what we’re going to do next year.”
Jonathan studied sculpture at the Kansas City Art Institute, and graduated in 2002 with a BFA. In 2004 he was invited to be an artist-in-residence at the Art Center of South Florida in Miami Beach. In 2007 Jonathan received the prestigious South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship for Visual Art, and was included in the exhibition "New Art: South Florida 2007" at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Miami. In June of 2008 Jonathan attended the Cooper Union School of Art Summer Residency Program and currently maintains his studio in Brooklyn, NY.
